Aromas of summer rose garden complement the foundation of plums, blueberry and blueberry. The pleasantly savoury palate is made up of blueberry and blackberry with a hint of wild liquorice on the finish. The mouthfeel is soft and forward, with a long finish. Raimes Blanc de Noirs 2019 (6 Bottles) Alresford, Hampshire, England

Ripe orchard fruits. Lovely, fresh and well balanced with a hint of toasty background notes.
The nose is of redcurrants, sweet red apples and peach with suggestions of pastry and lemon shortbread. The palate is very fruit forward, thanks to the fruits of the ripe 2019 vintage. But it’s perfectly judged, bringing forward a creamy generosity to balance the taut red berry and crisp apple flavours.
