Bluebell Hindleap Barrel Aged Blanc de Blancs 2017 (6 Bottles) Furners Green, East Sussex, England

Ashdown Boundary Block is made from 100% Merlot grapes. Aged in old oak barrels for 19 months. Light to medium bodied with a ruby to garnet hue. On the nose aromas of plum, blackcurrant, blackberry, almond, rhubarb, Cherry Bakewell and vanilla leading to flavors of cooked cherries, black currant jam, vanilla, cranberries and blackberries.
It is smooth with a good length. Its tannin structure is well balanced and delicate, while still delivering an intense and complex taste. Enjoy this wine with roast beef, mushroom risotto, or game dishes. Well-balanced acidity and medium body create a crisp, lively texture that carries to a refreshing finish. Pale golden with subtle aromas of fresh apple and elderflower, our Brut Sparkling Wine is racy and fresh. Bottle maturation provides hints of biscuit on the nose, and butter on the palate. As with all our Sparkling Wines, it is made using the same traditional method found on the continent, with a secondary fermentation in the bottle.
However, using different grape varieties to those found in the traditional areas of France results in slightly less austere, more aromatic, fruity flavours which have proved to be consistently popular over the years.
