An exquisitely elegant sparkling rosé wine showing great finesse.
It has a delicate salmon-pink hue with tiny bubbles. Enticing aromas of wild strawberries and white peach mingle with a hint of rosehip. There are subtle autolytic notes of vanilla-scented brioche and scones with cream.
The mousse is soft and creamy with beautifully integrated bubbles. On the palate, fresh summer berries including cranberry and redcurrant meet stone fruits, nectarine and wild apricot. It has layers of complexity with citrus acidity and delicate minerality. The mouthfeel is excellent and it shows exceptional balance, lingering well after the last drop.

Cielo e Terra has dual roots in the Veneto region: the Cielo family and the winemakers of the Cantine dei Colli Berici. The Cielo family’s bond with the land dates back to 1908 in the Vicenza countryside, near the Castles of Romeo and Juliet, where the great-grandfather had bought Casa Defrà, a small farm with a vineyard. They enjoy making wines with passion and innovation to create signature versions of traditional Italian wines, looking for the right balance between personality and easy-drinking.
This wine reveals a delicate light pink hue, reflecting its fresh and vibrant character. The bouquet is lively and persistent, offering inviting fruity aromas with notes of pineapple and strawberry. On the palate, it is soft and slightly mineral, delivering a well-rounded, balanced profile. Winemaker's Notes: Not your typical white wine, a wine for the lovers of 'orange wines'. Small parcels of very ripe and rare (in England) Sauvignon Blanc and Muscat grapes were fermented on skins in the same way as you would a red wine for 7 days before being pressed. Only 500 bottles produced.

Bacchus grapes are particularly well suited to our High Weald terroir, and produce a fresh, aromatic, crisp white wine. This 2022 vintage shows all the benefits of the long hot summer in the UK last year and is slightly more rounded and nuanced than our previous vintages, with strong aromas of pear and gooseberry on the nose and palate and with a deliciously smooth finish.
