This Chardonnay is an expression of site and season. Aromas of white peach, citrus blossom and roasted cashew lead into a textured palate layered with ripe stone fruit, subtle oak spice and a touch of flinty minerality. The natural fermentation and extended lees contact add depth and complexity, while bright acidity provides length and freshness on the finish. Elegant, structured and cellar-worthy.

Bacchus grapes are particularly well suited to our High Weald terroir, and produce a fresh, aromatic, crisp white wine. This 2023 vintage shows all the benefits of the long hot summer in the UK last year and is slightly more rounded and nuanced than our previous vintages, with strong aromas of pear and gooseberry on the nose and palate and with a deliciously smooth finish. Nose: Dried cherry, 5 spice, earthy, roasted coffee and liquorice
Palate: Sweet fruit entry, medium bodied, silky tanin making for an elegant overall structure. Raspberry and red plum lift give it a long, fragrant finish.
