Our Hambledon Zéro Dosage Rosé is produced exclusively from estate-grown Meunier grapes in the historic village of Hambledon in Hampshire.
Hambledon’s cool climate combined with ancient chalky soils creates an ideal terroir to show this grape’s true potential. This is a gastronomic Fizz, free from categorization, born from our winemaker’s artistry.
This is a fine example of the depth and complexity that Meunier can produce whilst showcasing an energy and freshness that can be independently served or paired with food throughout a meal.
A beautiful, vivid wild-strawberry pink with a hue of red onion skin on the rim. On the nose, magnolia blossom is followed stridently by perfumed wild-strawberry compote with hints of buttered white sourdough toast. The palate is rich and mouth filling with flavours of strawberry balanced by zingy tart cranberry and pithy Amalfi lemon notes. The texture is creamy with a clean, crisp, yeasty finish.

A vivacious and refreshing, lower alcohol crisp dry white wine with lots of zesty appeal. Pale lemon hue with a flash of green and a few legs. Aromatic floral notes of lemon blossom and elderflower combine with green apple, lemon zest and gooseberry. It also has herbaceous notes of lemongrass and a faint hint of nettle on the nose. The palate is dry with racy acidity and vibrant freshness. It has attractive citrus flavours of juicy grapefruit and tangy lime which mingle with ripe gooseberry and kiwi-fruit. Subtle grassy flavours and herbal notes of kaffir lime leaf and coriander combine with salty minerality on the crisp dry finish. It is light-bodied and refreshing with lower alcohol than most Bacchus and demonstrates uplifting lime acidity plus good length.
Best served chilled with shellfish such as steamed cockles and mussels. An ideal match for flat fish including plaice, lemon sole, brill or turbot served with salty samphire. Delicious paired with lemony asparagus. Also good with stir-fried vegetables seasoned with garlic, lemongrass, ginger and coriander. This wine is 100% Bacchus selected from two blocks from our growers in Essex. These grapes showed exceptional quality and ripeness on arrival at the winery and were separated as a premium offering by our winemaking team.

NOSE: An intense nose with layers of gooseberry, pineapple, blackcurrant leaf & lime.
PALATE: A beautiful, balanced wine with excellent structure, including tropical fruit, blackcurrant leaf and a smooth mouthfeel. Steely lime acidity continues into a finish that just keeps on going.
