Ripe, fleshy pear and English apple on the nose with hints of violets and turkish delight. The palate is soft and textured but also fresh and crisp.
A generous length of pink grapefruit, almonds and biscuit pastry rounds off this complex wine.
The fruit was harvested by hand from our own vines and a parcel from Martin's Lane Vineyard in the Crouch Valley, Essex. To express the complexity of the Bacchus grape, we use a multitude of techniques that respect both the traditional and more novel methods of winemaking.

Our Orange Bacchus is a single estate Bacchus sourced from grapes grown in Hawkhurst, Kent and then aged in oak barrels. Orange wine is made in contact with the grape skins in order to extract flavour and texture in a similar way to how red wine is made.

This delicious organic Chardonnay from Greece, was our first ever guest producer. Another example of how this magnificent grape can taste different (again) in another climate or from a different terroir. This has enough ‘classic chard’ to please traditionalists, but real intrigue via lemon and mountain herb notes to interest the keenest of inquisitive palettes. Ortega is a lesser-known grape variety in the UK, but gaining in popularity among those who have ‘’discovered” it! Named after Spanish philosopher, Jose Ortega y Gaffet, Ortega is a cross between Muller-Thurgau and Siegerrebe grapes.
