During the early years, Bodegas Lustau operated as an ‘Almacenista’. The Lustau family began bottling their own sherries and exporting by 1950. In the 1980s they expanded their range and introduced the Almacenista range concept of buying and maturing casks from small bodegas to share excellent quality names and styles with enthusiasts around the world. Bodegas Lustau is considered a world-class benchmark for top-quality wines.
Vermouth born to combine with all tonic, soda, cava, prosecco … Three exceptional Lustau wines are the basis of this elegant, silky vermouth: a very dry Fino, a white Moscatel and sweet, and a pinch of Tintilla of Rota brings its pink color. With a perfect blend of 10 botanicals this vermouth perfect balance is obtained, with floral notes and aroma of wild strawberries.

Our Ortega is a delicate, precisely made wine, which has been produced using a combination of natural and selected yeasts. This year’s vintage showcases everything we love about Ortega as a variety - a nose of tropical fruit and on the palate a herbal, saline finish.
Winemaker Adrian Pike explains "We were really proud of what we released last year, but quite simply, the 2023 vintage gave us riper fruit and that’s given all our releases a little more brightness and concentration of flavours, still with all the classic Westwell characteristics."
Westwell Ortega 2023 pairs perfectly with poultry, shellfish, soft cheeses and is also great on its own.

This blend replaces our highly successful Ditchling Reserve. Using Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir Précoce, the wine has been longer in reserve and a large proportion has been barrel aged before bottling. Long aging on the lees has ensured a rich, but still fruity balance. Also awarded a gold medal at the 2021 International Wines & Spirits Competition; the judges commented “Stunning nose of honeycomb, bruised apple and brioche – like a fine dessert with apple four ways. Due to an ideal vintage in 2022, Matt Abbey our winemaker, has produced our first still Chardonnay; with pleasing results. Hand-harvested fruit from our vineyard and fermented in stainless steel. Aged in a combination of new and aged Hungarian oak for six months.
