A captivating debut still white wine from Black Chalk, ‘Rumour Has It’ showcases the essence of Kent’s vineyards with a distinctly Black Chalk twist. This Chardonnay, crafted from four tonnes of premium fruit sourced from a trusted friend’s vineyard in Kent, offers a soft, rounded texture courtesy of full malolactic fermentation. A blend of stainless-steel and 30% new French oak fermentation lends the wine a harmonious balance between fresh purity and subtle oak influence.
The palate brims with bright fruit flavors, beautifully integrated with a creamy mouthfeel, delivering a wine of elegance, balance, and unmistakable character.
Food Pairing: Perfect for elevating everyday meals, pair this versatile wine with classic Fish & Chips, a comforting roast chicken, or indulgent mid-week mussels in creamy garlic sauce.

It was fermented in stainless steel. The wine has a dry balance and aromas of white fruit (peach, baked apple) with a clean finish.
