Blackbook “Tamesis” Bacchus 2023 (6 Bottles) Battersea, London, England
UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED
Tamesis is a collaboration between Blackbook and Forty Hall, London’s only certified organic vineyard. This was the first wine both grown and made in London, in modern times when we initially released the 2018 vintage.
Fermented using natural yeasts in a combination of old French oak barrels and steel tank; followed by naturally occurring malolactic fermentation and aged for 7 months on gross lees. A wine that truly expresses the varietal essence with nuances of elderflower, white peach, and white pepper with touches of sweet spices and tropical fruit. Unfined and unfiltered.
Dropmore English Sparkling Brut (6 Bottles) Burnham, Buckinghamshire, England
UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED
Our signature Sparkling white wine, (we fondly and unofficially call our “Bucks Fizz”). Made in the traditional method from Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay grapes, all grown in Dropmore Vineyard, this awarded English bubbly is a big favourite with those who have discovered it!
Llanerch Solaris Dry White (6 Bottles) Pontyclun, Vale of Glamorgan, Wales
UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED
Llanerch Estate's Solaris Dry White is a testament to the virtues of the Solaris grape, an early-ripening hybrid known for its robust characteristics and minimal need for intervention. While not officially organic, this wine comes remarkably close, thanks to the grape's natural disease resistance.
The nose is a vibrant symphony of zesty limes and lemons, intertwined with the crisp scent of green gooseberries, all underpinned by fresh, clean undertones. On the palate, it reveals a lively high acidity, reminiscent of crunchy Granny Smith apples and a burst of lime zest.
Oastbrook Estate Pinot Blanc 2023 (6 Bottles) Robertsbridge, Kent, England
UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED
The wine presents a lemon/light gold colour, a generous bouquet of ripe pear, peach, honeydew melon, grapefruit and hints quince followed by well-defined and complex fruit characteristics, fresh crisp acidity and minerality with plenty of character on the palate.
100% Alsatian Clone Pinot Blanc, the grapes from our vineyard were handpicked, and pressed in October. After low temperature fermentation to accentuate the thiol aromas the wine was left in tank over winter but not allowed to go to malolactic fermentation, the juice was very clear and required minimal fining and developed a splash of fruits and flavours of fruit with crispy acidity.
