A dry, white wine with a crisp finish. Named after the God of wine, Bacchus is one of England’s most interesting grape varieties for still wines. Its grapes have strong and distinctive aromatic flavour, with characteristics which develop well in the bottle over time. The ideal alternative to a Sauvignon Blanc.

This comes from the exceptional vintage of 2022, the first time we’ve been able to get the required ripeness in the fruit to make a still Pinot Gris to go alongside our iconic sparkling Pinot Gris. This still certainly does not disappoint.

Back in our cellars once more following on from successful 2018 & 2020 vintages. This Rondo and Regent blend has been fermented on skins for three weeks and pressed into tank; before transferred into barrel. Individual Regent and Rondo barrels were selected to create this 50:50 blend.
Subtle oak notes on the nose merge well with black forest fruits and floral notes. A richer, darker palate than the single variety Regent yet a softer, smoother finish. 11.5%

This sparkling rose wine is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes, hand-picked from our own estate. It is made using the classic bottle fermentation method. It is bright pink in colour with a persistent bead. The wine has hints of pomegranates and red currants on the nose and the palate is crisp and refined, with flavours of red summer fruits.

Our Pinot Rosé 2022 wine is now available to order. A truly delightful and refreshing summer wine!
Made entirely from our own grown Pinot varieties, this wine is a mix of 45% Pinot Noir (mix of clones), 40% Pinot Noir Precoce and 15% Pinot Meunier. With our warm summer of 2022 the result is an intoxicating aroma of red summer fruit produce.
On the mouth the first taste is distinctly of ripe raspberries and loganberries followed by pomegranate and perhaps some red currant. The wine leaves a smooth and rounded finish. This is well balanced and a delight to drink on a summer’s afternoon – with or without food!
Meophams Roffensian Sparkling Wine (6 Bottles) Meopham, Kent, England

A classic blend of chardonnay and pinot noir that exemplifies english finesse and balance. Pale gold with a delicate mousse, this traditional method brut has alluring aromas of crisp red apples, zesty citrus and gentle floral notes. Pale golden with subtle aromas of fresh apple and elderflower, our Brut Sparkling Wine is racy and fresh. Bottle maturation provides hints of biscuit on the nose, and butter on the palate. As with all our Sparkling Wines, it is made using the same traditional method found on the continent, with a secondary fermentation in the bottle.
However, using different grape varieties to those found in the traditional areas of France results in slightly less austere, more aromatic, fruity flavours which have proved to be consistently popular over the years.
