This sparkling rosé is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes including some Pinot Précoce, a variety that ripens early which balances the acidity of the wine with ripe summer fruit flavours.
Rose pink in colour, this dry wine is abundantly aromatic with strawberry and dark fruit notes. Lively, fresh and fruity with a crisp, long finish.

This wine is also Zero Dosage and crafted from selected hand-picked Chardonnay & Pinot Blanc grapes gently pressed to extract the highest quality cuvee juice. A portion of the juice underwent primary fermentation in large French new oak barrels with subsequent prolonged lees contact in barrel prior to blending.
After secondary fermentation this wine enjoyed 44 months or more on-lees maturation in bottle, all of which has helped to create a beautifully balanced and elegant Sussex sparkling wine with layers of complexity, great poise and length.
On the nose the wine offers aromas of pear, peach and apricot complimented by a touch of brioche.

The Verhaeghe family have been making wine in the Lot since the 1950s. Today it is Pascal and Jean-Marc in charge of the domaine, which is certified organic. Cielo e Terra has dual roots in the Veneto region: the Cielo family and the winemakers of the Cantine dei Colli Berici. The Cielo family’s bond with the land dates back to 1908 in the Vicenza countryside, near the Castles of Romeo and Juliet, where the great-grandfather had bought Casa Defrà, a small farm with a vineyard. They enjoy making wines with passion and innovation to create signature versions of traditional Italian wines, looking for the right balance between personality and easy-drinking.
This wine reveals a delicate light pink hue, reflecting its fresh and vibrant character. The bouquet is lively and persistent, offering inviting fruity aromas with notes of pineapple and strawberry. The first Bacchus in our Sandridge Barton range offers up a broader and richer expression. Whole-bunched pressed Bacchus, fermented in both stainless steel and third-fill oak barrels before being matured for a further 8 months in old French oak barrels for maturation. The wine is unfiltered and has spend a further 10 months in bottle prior to release.
The palate is alive and bursting with lemon pith, melon and kiwi flavours, lifted by a lime-like acidity and some subtle oak tannin. This dry, textual and broad Bacchus shows a different side to UK's fourth most planted grape variety.
