Azienda Vitivinicola Luigi Tacchino Gavi di Gavi 2024 (6 Bottles) Piedmont, Italy
UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED
For more than three generations the Tacchino family has produced superb fresh and vibrant wines in Castelletto d`Orba in Monferrato, Piedmont. This is perfect wine country as the hills provide a natural amphitheatre which protects the vineyards from the northerly winds. Today, brother and sister duo Alessio and Romina run the Tacchino estate, with Bob the German Shephard close at their heels. While Alessio remains close to his vines, it is Romina who welcomes visitors and visits markets.
This wine presents a medium-intensity straw-yellow colour with good luminosity. On the nose, it opens with delicate floral aromas, particularly acacia and linden blossom, followed by subtle fruit notes, led by light peach, and finishing with hints of Mediterranean herbs. The palate mirrors the bouquet with clarity, offering a flavourful and refreshingly bright profile that leaves the mouth feeling exceptionally clean. A gentle almond note lingers as an aromatic aftertaste, rounding out a balanced, smooth, and pleasantly invigorating sip.

Lyme Bay Chardonnay 2021 (6 Bottles) Axminster, Devon, England
UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED
Fermented in a mixture of stainless steel and oak at cool temperatures using selected Burgundy yeast strains to enhance complexity, stone fruit, floral characters and minerality. Post-fermentation there was full malolactic fermentation and extended fine lees ageing with some bâtonnage to accentuate the natural weight.
A late dry spell in 2021 allowed us to hang the fruit for as long as possible to ensure we attained peak physiological ripeness for our house style. The Chardonnay 2021 is a blend of aromatic and non-aromatic chardonnay fruit sourced from a collection of growers in Essex where the microclimate and soil allow the grapes to achieve excellent ripeness, harvested between 31st October and 7th November 2021.
Ashling Park Estate Chardonnay (6 Bottles) Chichester, West Sussex, England

From the 2022 harvest at our West Ashling vineyard, this wine opens with an inviting bouquet of local watercress beds, complemented by notes of toasty cashews, cool cinders, and ripe greengage plum.
On the palate, it delivers a delicate interplay of fresh acidity, reminiscent of crunchy nectarine, balanced by a subtle coastal salinity. The finish lingers gracefully, enhanced by a creamy softness imparted by a touch of time in the barrel.

Sandridge Barton Don’t Feed the Ponies Oddy 2020 (6 Bottles) Stoke Gabriel, Devon, England
UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED
Madeleine Angevine spontaneously fermented on skins for three weeks with indigenous vineyard yeasts for character, no filtration and matured under cork for two years. A unique expression of our flagship variety, with aromas of candied dried orange peel, dried flowers and honeysuckle. The palate is dry with grippy tannins and more orange peel flavours. This wine pairs perfectly with charcuterie, olives and mature cheeses. Do not chill too much and don't worry about the sediment, its natural and brings character to the wine.
This wine is part of our new Don't Feed The Ponies range of more experimental wines, a reference to a campaign on Dartmoor National Park to discourage visitors from feeding the wild horses that roam there. The source of the River Dart begins way up in the heart of the moors, and it's the river that influences how our grapes grow. For every bottle purchased from this range, we'll donate 25p to the Dartmoor Preservation Association to preserve the natural habitat.
