Palacios Remondo La Montesa Crianza 2021 (6 Bottles) Rioja, Spain

Palacios Remondo is a family-owned winery based in Alfaro, in Rioja Oriental, the warmest and most easterly part of the Rioja appellation. The soils here are silty and alluvial and the semi-arid Mediterranean climate is well-suited to growing Garnacha, a variety that is finally coming back into the foreground in this region, after decades of being supplanted by the more popular Tempranillo.
This wine is the epitome of Garnacha of the region, plump and generous, with layers of red fruit, subtle spicing and lively freshness. A very long, complete finish, with a savoury sign off to balance.

Minerva Wine is known for its distinctive flavour profile, which is attributed to the rare geology of the Mendip Hills where the grapes are grown. The geothermal heating that occurs when rainwater falls on the Carboniferous Limestone outcrop in the Mendip Hills gives the wines their unique flavour.

We brew using a bespoke blend of green teas from some of the best tea plantations in China, all ethically traded by our partners at rare tea company. They only work with farmers using organic principles who don’t use chemical pesticide or herbicides.
Our Kombucha is brewed and barrel-fermented in our nano brewery situated on Nania’s Vineyard in central Bristol, we have perfected a can-conditioning process and hand-can our kombucha in small batches. We make an authentic kombucha that is RAW and alive inside. It’s very much the real deal and we’re so confident in the provenance of our brew that we offer a S.C.O.B.Y guarantee.
