2022 was an exceptional year vintage at Ashling Park, representing our best red wine fruit of the year. Aged in French and American oak barrels for almost one year, giving structure, complexity and depth. Dark Cherry, Blackberry and subtle oak notes make this perfect at the table with a wide range of fine foods.

Founded in 1825, Champagne Joseph Perrier has been owned and run by the same family since 1888. The cellars stretch over three kilometres and date back to the Gallo-Roman period. All the wines are made with a keen focus on freshness and purity, a theme which runs right through the range and really shows its worth in the vintage cuvées which show impressive energy and poise and remarkable ageing potential.
A brilliant, light-golden yellow hue with delicate copper highlights, offering an elegant visual allure. With passion and purpose Red Hut was launched and embodies the spirit of New Zealand, they are inspired by the iconic red huts that shelter adventurers. This Sauvignon Blanc is bright and expressive, with aromas of lime, gooseberry and passionfruit, alongside hints of lemongrass and fresh herbs. The palate is dry and lively, showing flavours of green apple, lime zest and tropical citrus. A subtle lees influence adds softness to the texture, while crisp acidity and a mineral edge give the wine a long, refreshing finish.

The ever-popular Sparkling Rosé returns!
This wine is made from a blend of 55% Pinot Meunier and 45% Pinot Noir and aged for 18 months on its lees.
The grapes were picked in October following a record-breaking hot summer here at Saffron Grange. The result is a delicious sparkling wine packed with strawberries and a underlying hint of jamminess.
The Sparkling Rosé is salmon pink in colour, with a vibrant mousse. The nose is greeted with sumptuous wild strawberries and baked apricots followed by ripe peaches, cream and the richness of hazelnut on the palate. Delicious on its own or why not try with Asian style dishes like sticky duck pancakes.
This Sparkling Rosé would be the perfect sparkling wine to treat someone special with or toast with at those special occasions.

Down Field gives powerful, defined styles of Pinot Meunier which are generous, precise, and elegant. The profile here is of wild strawberry, cranberry, raspberry, with red apple and ripe peach. There’s a touch of spice from the lees ageing.

Our long awaited 2023 Sauvignon Blanc. Part of our Limited-edition range made from grapes harvested from just 2,000 vines planted on our steepest vineyard field called Westrip. These vines have been producing award winning wines from the very beginning with our first release the 2017 winning a silver medal. This was followed by an unprecedented double gold for the 2018 at the 2019 IWSC and 2019 Global Sauvignon Blanc Masters. Most recently our 2021 vintage took home the Global Sauvignon Blanc Master Medal, a pioneering first for English Sauvignon Blanc.
