Champagne Gaston Chiquet has been passed down through eight generations since 1746, when Nicolas Chiquet planted his first vines. It was brothers Fernand and Gaston who, in 1919, made the bold decision to keep their grapes and producer their own wine. Committed to protecting their land for future generations, they have both the Champagne Sustainable Viticulture and High Environmental Value certification, which they were awarded in 2015.
Pale yellow colour, fine mousse. Expressive, fruity (citrus and banana) nose. Smooth palate (Meunier) maintaining the citrus notes, light finish.

The Cape Mentelle journey is a true labour of love, born from humble beginnings in 1970 with just sixteen hectares of vines. This wine is a symphony of citrus and tropical flavours, bursting with energy and vibrancy. The nose is a riot of yellow grapefruit pith, green mango, and crushed lime leaf. The art: Just as Nutbourne wines are only made from grapes grown on the estate, every bottle features Bridget Gladwin’s paintings. Juliet Victor Estate Furmint 2021 (6 Bottles) Tokaj, Hungary

Juliet Victor is a relatively young estate, founded in 2015 by József Váradi. Located in the heart of Hungary’s Tokaj region, in the historic town of Mád, Juliet Victor has 25 hectares – some of the highest quality and historically significant areas. The estate uses the same handpicked Furmint grapes to produce dry wines as well as blends with Hárslevelu and Muskotály for their sweet Szamorodni and Late Harvest wines. The vines are on average 45-50 years old but the Bomboly vineyard includes some vines that are over 100 years old.
The aroma is clean, developing, apple and green apple aromas, mild herbal, chamomile character, which is accompanied by a mineral, salty nose. On the palate the wine is dry, with medium acidity, medium loose structure, citrus, vanilla, apple, salty aromas, with a moderately long finish. Balanced, rich white wine which can be drink now or even in 2-5 years. The recommended food pairing for the wine is vitello tonnato, truffle, capers, ruccola.
