A soft and fruity red; smooth acidity and light tannic structure with warming red fruit aromas with lots of blackcurrants, cherry and spice on the palate. Enjoy on its own or with roast chicken, seared tuna and lightly spiced dishes. 12% abv.

2023’s mild year is reflected in the wine’s linear, mineral style. An elegant nose of toasted almonds and lemon peel leads to a bright, beautifully balanced texture with waxy grip and acidity.

2020 was a year like no other, whilst everyone was locked down at home, we were incredibly lucky to be able to get out into the vineyard and do what we do. With a local army of freshly recruited (furloughed) vineyard workers, we negotiated our way through a season that produced a small, very ripe and incredibly concentrated crop of fruit, most notably expressed in this opulent and fruit forward edition of our much loved Rosé. Even though the blend and process is exactly the same as previous wines, there is something different about this one, a purity, softness and elegance that makes the wine simply glide across the palate. We can’t wait to see how it develops over the years, but this really will be a hard one to keep.
