During the early years, Bodegas Lustau operated as an ‘Almacenista’. The Lustau family began bottling their own sherries and exporting by 1950. In the 1980s they expanded their range and introduced the Almacenista range concept of buying and maturing casks from small bodegas to share excellent quality names and styles with enthusiasts around the world. Bodegas Lustau is considered a world-class benchmark for top-quality wines.
The Lustau Vermut Rojo NV is a stunning representation of the traditional Spanish vermouth, showcasing the unique and complex flavours of Jerez. On the nose, aromas of ripe red berries, dried fruits, and warm spices dance delicately, with a subtle hint of bitter orange peel lingering in the background. The deep ruby color of the wine is a feast for the eyes, inviting you to take a sip. Plumpton Estate Brut Reserve is a powerful blend of Reising,
Seyval Blanc, Pinot Blanc and Regner. The base wine is
fermented in tank, then again once in bottle. This wine has
been aged for five years on lees to infuse pronounced
tertiary aromas. The unique blend of several varieties
produces a one-of-a-kind, alternative wine to traditional
method champagne varietal wines.

Our Pinot Blanc is made from hand-picked grapes, harvested in early October 2023. The Pinot Blanc grapes from Oxfordshire were gently pressed in our winery on the same day. The pale yellow juice was fermented partialy in a stainless steel tank and a third vintage oak barrel from Burgundy, before being bottled in May 2024. The wine is unfiltered, unfined and vegan friendly.
