Our 2018 ‘Alwyn’ Classic Cuvée is named after a Saxon nobleman and first known resident of the original Saxon manor of Chilworth. Our first Première Cuvée Rosé is a blend based on the 2016 harvest. The style is a more vinous and gastronomic version of rosé based on the saignée method. A longer lees ageing – the wine was bottled in 2017 and disgorged in 2022 – gives the depth and complexity worthy of our Première range.
The colour is a delicate strawberry pink, with just a suggestion of bronze and onion skin. The bouquet springs from the glass, immediate and assertive, rich with sweet summer raspberry fruit and subtle autumnal blackberry.

Our distinctive pale salmon colour sits alongside deliciously defined fruit. It’s the full gamut of citrus to peach with red fruit scintillation. This wine is built to last and will benefit from extended cork ageing, but nonetheless is also delicious right now and displays our trademark soft mousse and gentle acidity.

Domaine la Haute Févrie is found right in the heart of the Muscadet Sèvre et Maine appellation, around 18km south-east of Nantes. The estate covers 30 hectares of vineyards divided into several plots, which sit on the piece of land that lies between the waters of the Sèvre and the Maine. All of the vines are managed with environmentally friendly priniciples. hand-harvesting, no chemical fertilizers and with yield control. The domaine create single vineyard Muscadet wines enabling the expression of each individual site in every bottle.
The wine is aged for seven months in stainless steel tank, preserving its freshness. Displaying classic citrus and marine aromas, zip and a subtle spritz it is ideal with bivalves (mussels, oysters, etc.)
