El Convertido is based in the central Spanish region Castilla‑La Mancha, known as one of Spain’s largest and most important wine-producing areas. Its vineyards lie on the central plateau (the Meseta Central), a wide, relatively flat region at moderate altitude with hot summers and cold winters — ideal conditions for the varieties grown there. Our first ever cider is made in the traditional method and consists of apples, apples and some more apples. Nothing else. Lightly sparkling with crunchy, earthy apple characters and some gentle tannin.
100% Estate Apples – When we moved to the Sandridge Barton Estate, we inherited a couple of orchards. Rather than let the apples go to waste, or fall to the hands of Devon’s notorious ‘Scrumpers’, we thought we’d put them to good use. For every bottle purchased from this range, we'll donate 25p to the Dartmoor Preservation Association to preserve the natural habitat.
Litmus White Pinot 2018 (6 Bottles) Dorking, Surrey, England

2018 White Pinot is made from gently handled Pinot Noir which avoids the colour of the skins. The wine was matured in two to five year old French oak barriques for 12 months prior to bottling in December 2020. Pale straw in colour with evident peach , rose petal and honeysuckle on the nose this complex wine displays a fullness rare amongst English wines. Rich and silky in texture, and balanced with a steely backbone of acidity this complex wine, drinking well at the time of release, will continue to mature with grace in the years ahead.
Fenny Castle Wild Ferment Bacchus 2023 (6 Bottles) Wells, Somerset, England

Our Bacchus wine comes from our oldest vines close to the winery. This small vineyard produces a limited release of just 650 bottles each year and in previous years has won the Trophy for the best Bacchus in the WineGB West region twice.
This 2023 wine was slowly fermented using the wild yeastfrom the grapes and has resulted in a fragrant aromatic Bacchus with a delicate elderflower nose and a soft citrus palate. It is perfect on it’s own or with lighter styles of food.
