Nutbourne Hedgerow 2018 (6 Bottles) Pulborough, West Sussex, England

As the name suggests, this is a wine that captures the essence of the Sussex landscape.
It is off-dry, made from a blend of our Riesling-style German varietals, including fruit from our forty-year-old vines.
A blend of Shönburger, Bacchus and Huxelrebe creates a beautifully rounded wine with a big wildflower bouquet and an abundance of hedgerow fruits.
Hedgerow is not as sweet as a dessert wine but has richness and character to cope with big flavoured foods. Pairs well with strong blue cheeses, chicken liver paté, game terrines and orchard fruit desserts.
The art: Just as Nutbourne wines are only made from grapes grown on the estate, every bottle features Bridget Gladwin’s paintings. Our vineyards are protected by the South Downs and from the ridge of the Downs there are wonderful views like this patchwork of colours, angles and textures.

A delightful blend of Seyval Blanc and Pinot Noir, this sparkling wine, crafted by winemaker Steve Brooksbank, embodies elegance and vibrancy. Crafted using the traditional method and disgorged in January 2021, this vegan-friendly Brut is a testament to the estate’s commitment to quality. Its accolades include a Silver Medal at the WineGB Awards 2021, further cementing its place as a standout English sparkling wine.
Court Garden Ditchling Sparkling Quartet (6 Bottles) Ditchling, East Sussex, England

This blend replaces our highly successful Ditchling Reserve. Using Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir Précoce, the wine has been longer in reserve and a large proportion has been barrel aged before bottling. Long aging on the lees has ensured a rich, but still fruity balance. Also awarded a gold medal at the 2021 International Wines & Spirits Competition; the judges commented “Stunning nose of honeycomb, bruised apple and brioche – like a fine dessert with apple four ways. It has lovely poise, classy and complex all held in perfect poise by the bright quintessentially English acidity”.
