Crafted from grapes harvested from the sunniest corner of the vineyard, this Sparkling Red marks an exciting debut. A delightful blend of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, it charms with its playful and fruit-forward character.
On the nose, it evokes the vibrant aroma of fresh strawberries on a warm summer’s day. The palate delivers a harmonious medley of cherry, wild berries, and a subtle touch of liquorice and spice, all beautifully balanced by a distinctive chalky acidity, a hallmark of the South Downs terroir.

Juliet Victor Estate Furmint 2021 (6 Bottles) Tokaj, Hungary

Juliet Victor is a relatively young estate, founded in 2015 by József Váradi. Located in the heart of Hungary’s Tokaj region, in the historic town of Mád, Juliet Victor has 25 hectares – some of the highest quality and historically significant areas. The estate uses the same handpicked Furmint grapes to produce dry wines as well as blends with Hárslevelu and Muskotály for their sweet Szamorodni and Late Harvest wines. The vines are on average 45-50 years old but the Bomboly vineyard includes some vines that are over 100 years old.
The aroma is clean, developing, apple and green apple aromas, mild herbal, chamomile character, which is accompanied by a mineral, salty nose. On the palate the wine is dry, with medium acidity, medium loose structure, citrus, vanilla, apple, salty aromas, with a moderately long finish. Balanced, rich white wine which can be drink now or even in 2-5 years. The recommended food pairing for the wine is vitello tonnato, truffle, capers, ruccola.

During the early years, Bodegas Lustau operated as an ‘Almacenista’. The Lustau family began bottling their own sherries and exporting by 1950. This aromatised wine is our Dorset answer to “vermouth”! The white wine base is from our Dorset grown grapes. We bump up the ABV of these wines by fortifying with a small amount of our wine spirit distilled at Melbury Vale. We then blend with all natural extracts and lime syrup. Because of the slight fortification of this wine, it has a longer shelf life once opened. We recommend a bottle of our aromatised wine can stay open in the fridge for up to 2 weeks – but we don’t expect it to last that long! This amazingly zingy and refreshing wine is best served really chilled. You can serve it in a pitcher with ice and garnish with fresh mint, or pour into a glass over ice with Gin to create a Gin Mist! It’s so refreshing it is perfect with salty snacks as an aperitif!
