Josef Chromy is one of Tasmania's most famous influential wine figures, having owned and developed some of the state's most prominent wineries, including Rochecombe (now Bay Of Fires), Jansz, Tamar Ridge and Heemskerk vineyards. In 2007 he established the winery that would bear his name, which quickly became one of Tasmania's leading wine producers.
A vibrant nose of zesty lemon, lime, and kaffir lime leaves, complemented by subtle hints of roasted fennel and bay leaves. On the palate, it’s juicy and refreshing, with lively acidity and a fresh, vibrant character. Tuffon Hall Grape Gin 2018 (6 Bottles) Halstead, Essex, England

Tuffon Hall Grape Gin is made using the skins from our hand-picked Bacchus grapes. After we’ve pressed the grapes to make our Bacchus wine, we use the skins to make our grape gin.
The gin is infused with juniper berries, coriander seeds, fresh orange zest without pith, fresh minneola tangelo (a cross between a tangerine and a grapefruit), fresh torn bay leaves, some freshly grated lemon zest, and crucially our bacchus grape skins. They are steeped and distilled together in a small batch 200L copper pot gin still.
Serving suggestion: Serve with your favourite tonic, freshly sliced grapes and a slice of lime to give a truly refreshing yet dry finish.
Our Grape Gin, as with all our wines and gins is suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
