Le Clos Du Caillou Côtes-du-Rhône Rouge Bouquet des Garrigues 2023 (6 Bottles) Rhône Valley, France
UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED
Under the guidance of longtime winemaker Bruno Gaspard and the Vacheron siblings, Marilou and Axel, Le Clos du Caillou has become one of the most distinctive and admired names in the Rhône Valley. Nestled just 200 metres from Château Rayas, the estate boasts exceptional terroirs ranging from sandy soils to the famous galets roulés, resulting in wines of purity, finesse, and impressive ageing potential.
Shows a beautiful red garnet color, with bright and clear reflections. On the nose, we find very opened and expressive aromas, showing ref fruit notes, cherry and raspberry with poeny notes. In the mouth, this wine shows delicious texture, supple and delicate tannins, with strawberry, raspberry and redcurrant notes paired with eucalytpus aromas, giving a very fresh and intense wine. We find also white pepper and spicy notes, ending on delicate oaky notes giving roundness and a beautiful long finish. It`s a brillant wine, ready to drink now but with a few years ageing potential."
14.5% ABV, Organic.

Sandridge Barton Don’t Feed the Ponies Figgie Daniel 2022 (6 Bottles) Stoke Gabriel, Devon, England
UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED
An energetic wine with a lively spritz. This wine is unfiltered and unfined and contains the lees in the bottle. Col Fondo means 'with the bottom' in Italian, referring to the leftover lees sediment. This is the method in which Prosecco was produced before being overly commercialised but is now regaining popularity.
This wine is light and spritzy with green apple, lemon rind, elderflower and yeasty characters. We recommend a gentle shake before serving to distribute the sediment.
This wine is part of our new Don't Feed The Ponies range of more experimental wines, a reference to a campaign on Dartmoor National Park to discourage visitors from feeding the wild horses that roam there. The source of the River Dart begins way up in the heart of the moors, and it's the river that influences how our grapes grow. For every bottle purchased from this range, we'll donate 25p to the Dartmoor Preservation Association to preserve the natural habitat.
