Domaine Deux Roches is based in the village of Davayé, in the Mâconnais, and is jointly owned by Jean-Luc Terrier and Christian Collovray. Their 50 hectares of vineyards largely lie between the twin escarpments of Solutré and Vergisson and showcase the diverse terroirs of this region. The wines of Deux Roches are known for their drinkability and offer great value for money.
This Bourgogne Blanc by Domaine Des Deux Roches has an appealing bouquet of fresh apples and bright citrus fruits with a delicate hint of spice. Creamy stone fruits on the palate are underscored by a refreshing mineral character. Beautifully balanced with a lingering finish. Great value for money.

The 2025 Red Hut Pinot Gris from Marlborough's Awatere valley is a vibrant and finely detailed expression of the variety. Aromas of freshly cut pear, lemon zest and white blossom lead into a palate that is both bright and textural. Notes of nashi pear, green apple and a hint of spice are supported by a subtle mineral edge. This Pinot gris finished long and clean, with a gentle savoury note that adds depth and complexity. Ashdown Boundary Block is made from 100% Merlot grapes. Aged in old oak barrels for 19 months. Light to medium bodied with a ruby to garnet hue. On the nose aromas of plum, blackcurrant, blackberry, almond, rhubarb, Cherry Bakewell and vanilla leading to flavors of cooked cherries, black currant jam, vanilla, cranberries and blackberries.
It is smooth with a good length. Its tannin structure is well balanced and delicate, while still delivering an intense and complex taste. Enjoy this wine with roast beef, mushroom risotto, or game dishes. Well-balanced acidity and medium body create a crisp, lively texture that carries to a refreshing finish. Ortega grapes ripen from the beginning of September – quite early for white grapes and therefore excellent in our rather damp Autumn climate.
It develops well in the bottle and produces wine of outstanding quality with a fine aroma reminiscent of peaches.
