The Verhaeghe family have been making wine in the Lot since the 1950s. Today it is Pascal and Jean-Marc in charge of the domaine, which is certified organic. They own three parcels of vineyards, the largest of which is 12.5 acres with stony calcareous clay which is called `Tran`, which plays an important role retaining heat and moisture. Drawing on his winemaking experience from California to Burgundy.

Aged in French and American oak barrels for almost one year, giving structure, complexity and depth. The Cape Mentelle journey is a true labour of love, born from humble beginnings in 1970 with just sixteen hectares of vines. Fast forward to today, and this iconic winery has carefully crafted each blend to showcase the unique characteristics of its terroir, resulting in wines that are both complex and approachable.
This wine is a crafted blend of flavours and textures, showcasing the best of Margaret River Shiraz. This 16 Hectares Shiraz is a medium-bodied delight, with a rich array of dark fruit flavours, including red cherry, blackberry, and spiced plum. These flavours are beautifully complemented by layers of cedar and warm spice, adding depth and complexity to the wine. With its finely textured tannins and refreshing acidity, this wine is both elegant and refined. The gravelly soils of the Wallcliffe vineyard have imparted a subtle minerality, while the wild-yeast fermentation has added a touch of nuance. Astley Acacia Barrel Kerner (6 Bottles) Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire, England

Undoubtedly a first for the UK, this bright, but noticeably barrel aged wine combines our unique old Kerner vines with an unusual 100% Acacia barrel. Great with a cheeseboard or white meats.
Made of: 98% Kerner, 2% Madeleine Angevine
Tastes of: Ripe lemon, Gently woody & textural
Sweetness: Dry
Acidity: Medium high/High
Barrel: Light but noticeable. 3 months in first use, light toast barrel.
The inspiration for our unusual 100% Acacia barrel came from the fact that we grow Kerner. This variety is famously grown in Alto Adige (Alpine Italy) where a traditional practice is fermenting and ageing it in Acacia. Compared to Oak, Acacia is more subtle, and adds flavours of honey & flowers.
For the barrel's first use, we aged our Kerner from 2019 for 3 months, followed by several years in bottle. The result is a mouthwatering but textural wine that tastes of spiced lemon, with a gently woody midpalate. Pair with cheese, white meats, and rich fish dishes.

A single estate, blended white wine. The blend is lightly oaked to enhance the butterscotch complexity of white peach and grape flavours and produces a floral and honeysuckle nose, all lightly balanced with a gentle acidity.

Palate: Well-rounded and textural, lovely high acidity. White Stone, Citrus Fruit, complemented by French oak which has been used sparingly during maturation.

Selected hard harvested fruit from our solaris vines make this Late harvest Solar - our second after the 2021 vintage which sold out in no time.
The grapes were left to ripen as much as possible then fermented in stainless stell. Sweet honey and ripe stone fruits merge well with crisp acidity.

Núria Altés is a native of Batea, Terra Alta, and her family have been growers for generations. A proud Catalan, Núria is deeply immersed in the history of the region and will gladly recount the stories of her beloved land over a glass of Garnatxa Negra. She worked in local wineries before forming a partnership with her English husband, Rafael De Haan, to start Herència Altés, a project proudly carrying her family`s name in tribute to their work in the vineyards of Terra Alta over many generations.
Light and bright colour with golden reflections. Very expressive nose that awakens aromas of citrus, fruit and Mediterranean herbs. In the mouth it is very fresh, with a vibrant acidity, and very elegant.

Our signature white wine at Burn Valley continues to shine, barrel fermented and aged in Hungarian oak for eight months with a mixture of new and aged oak, partial malolactic fermentation is done to produce a rich buttery finish. Aromas of vanilla and toasty notes. Citrus fruits balance with a rich and creamy palate with notes of vanilla and oak.

As the name suggests, this is a wine that captures the essence of the Sussex landscape.
It is off-dry, made from a blend of our Riesling-style German varietals, including fruit from our forty-year-old vines.
A blend of Shönburger, Bacchus and Huxelrebe creates a beautifully rounded wine with a big wildflower bouquet and an abundance of hedgerow fruits.
Hedgerow is not as sweet as a dessert wine but has richness and character to cope with big flavoured foods. Pairs well with strong blue cheeses, chicken liver paté, game terrines and orchard fruit desserts.
The art: Just as Nutbourne wines are only made from grapes grown on the estate, every bottle features Bridget Gladwin’s paintings. Our vineyards are protected by the South Downs and from the ridge of the Downs there are wonderful views like this patchwork of colours, angles and textures.
