Coolhurst Ktima Gerovassiliou Malagousia (6 Bottles) Horsham, West Sussex, England via Greece

NECTAR FROM A DIFFERENT HECTARE
This very fine bottle of white wine comes from the exceptional Ktima Gerovassiliou, who are veritable magicians. It is important to know that, in a market now well represented by the indigenous Malagousia varietal, this estate was responsible for rescuing said grape from extinction in 1981. This baby is the benchmark of the varietal and comes from immaculate 74 acre slopes in Epanomi.
It’s all in here; white pear, mango and lemon zest on the nose and a mouthful of refreshing fruit with a hint of mountain herbs underpinned by a delicious flinty, mineral backbone. Obviously this is a natural partner to Greek and Mediterranean food but it has the kahunas to stand up to Thai spice too. If you like Sauvignon Blanc or Bacchus you’re going to love this.

A fresh, complex, quintessentially English, dry white wine. An excellent match for seafood dishes.
Shoreline is a blend of beautiful cool climate varieties, with each of the parcels fermented separately with different yeast strains & temperatures to make several complex layers of flavours & aromas. Upon completion, the different vats were assessed for potential and characteristics, then blended together in the optimum proportions. The resulting Shoreline blend was aged for several months on fine lees to improve preserve freshness.
TASTING: Clear, pale lemon in colour.
NOSE: A complex floral nose with added hints of pineapple & lime.
PALATE: Well-balanced with crisp acidity & complex layers. Bright flavours of lemon and lime with a background of nettle, herbaceous notes.

The Art: Just as Nutbourne wines are only made from grapes grown on the estate, every bottle features Bridget Gladwin’s paintings. This piece is from a series of paintings worked on over a year, watching the vineyard change throughout the seasons. The bright green Spring growth and blue Summer skies contrast with the rich hues of Autumn and bare white of Winter.

With passion and purpose Red Hut was launched and embodies the spirit of New Zealand, they are inspired by the iconic red huts that shelter adventurers. The 2025 Red Hut Pinot Gris from Marlborough's Awatere valley is a vibrant and finely detailed expression of the variety. Aromas of freshly cut pear, lemon zest and white blossom lead into a palate that is both bright and textural. Notes of nashi pear, green apple and a hint of spice are supported by a subtle mineral edge. This Pinot gris finished long and clean, with a gentle savoury note that adds depth and complexity. Jérémie Huchet is a fourth-generation winemaker making his mark in Muscadet. Having taken over the family estate in 2001, Jérémie immediately went about purchasing some fantastic vineyards (which now total 64 hectares), and is slowly converting everything to organic viticulture. His white and red Chapeau wines are young wines meant for easy pleasure, while the clean, mineral L`Innatendu Muscadet is an excellent introduction to Jérémie`s vineyards and winemaking style.
The Chapeau Melon Rouge presents a light cherry colour with a nose of ripe red fruits. This dry red wine reveals a pleasant freshness with light tannins. The palate is gourmet, smooth and fruity.

Our multi-vintage blend uses fruit from all varieties and areas of our single vineyard to produce a wine that displays the unique qualities of the whole site. Using reserve wines, aged in oak, that have been carefully built up and nurtured from our very first harvest, we can add layers of complexity and texture to each wine. Every numbered release has it’s own identity and make up, which we love to celebrate. No 8 is based on the wonderful Pinot year that is 2019. It was a cooler and longer ripening season than 2018 and gives this wine a more elegant and focussed structure. The pronounced Pinot character is already giving lovely toasty complexity which will continue to build over the next few years. Enjoy on release but will also reward further ageing.
