Leslie’s Reserve Brut NV is a bright and fresh sparkling wine that captures the elegance and purity of English winemaking. Named after co-founder Leslie Balfour Lynn and first released in 2021 alongside the Rosé, this classic traditional method wine highlights Balfour’s signature style, emphasising fruit and aromatics with minimal reserve wine. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks and full malolactic fermentation before ageing on lees for a minimum of 12 months.

The skin fermented method applied to such aromatic varietals results in a wine with super powerful aromas of grapefruit, grass and tropical fruit. The palate is dry and crisp with soft tannins and a long citrussy finish. A very food friendly wine!
Winemaker's Notes: Not your typical white wine, a wine for the lovers of 'orange wines'. Small parcels of very ripe and rare (in England) Sauvignon Blanc and Muscat grapes were fermented on skins in the same way as you would a red wine for 7 days before being pressed. Only 500 bottles produced.

A fresh, complex, quintessentially English, dry white wine. An excellent match for seafood dishes.
Shoreline is a blend of beautiful cool climate varieties, with each of the parcels fermented separately with different yeast strains & temperatures to make several complex layers of flavours & aromas. Upon completion, the different vats were assessed for potential and characteristics, then blended together in the optimum proportions. The resulting Shoreline blend was aged for several months on fine lees to improve preserve freshness.
TASTING: Clear, pale lemon in colour.
NOSE: A complex floral nose with added hints of pineapple & lime.
PALATE: Well-balanced with crisp acidity & complex layers. Bright flavours of lemon and lime with a background of nettle, herbaceous notes.

Freshly picked hawthorn berry, raspberry and a hint of cedar. A lightweight palate of juicy red berries seasoned with sweet herbs, well balanced and delicate with a soft tannic grip. In addition to working with his wife Núria Altés on their ambitious joint project in Terra Alta, Herència Altés, Rafael De Haan has spent the last 10 years sourcing wines across Spain for his excellent négociant business, Bodegas Abanico. In the process he fell in love with the diverstiy of Spanish terroir, especially some lesser-known appellations and unusual varietals. This inspired him to launch the De Haan Altés Custom Cuvées project; Rafael partners with local winemakers he has known for years to craft unique, exceptionally-made cuvees that are the ultimate expressions of their respective terroirs.
Straw colour with a steely green rim. Bright and clean. Varied aromas, fruit and citrus predominating, apple and stone-fruit hints, with some flower notes. Tasty and well-structured in the mouth. Intense aftertaste with fruity and floral hints.
