Following on from the success of our medal winning 2021 vintage we have produced the same style of wine from our hand harvested Solaris, fermented and aged in stainless steel with seven months of lees aging and batonnage to help enhance the palate and mouthfeel with aromas of citrus and floral notes. Subtle stone fruits merge with an oily texture, balanced with crisp acidity.

During the early years, Bodegas Lustau operated as an ‘Almacenista’. The Lustau family began bottling their own sherries and exporting by 1950. In the 1980s they expanded their range and introduced the Almacenista range concept of buying and maturing casks from small bodegas to share excellent quality names and styles with enthusiasts around the world. This pale golden-hued vermouth is a blend of carefully selected white wines, fortified with a touch of brandy and infused with a secret blend of botanicals. The nose is immediately greeted with intense aromas of dried herbs, citrus peel, and a hint of saline minerality. On the palate, the wine reveals a perfect balance between sweetness and acidity, with flavours of green apple, fennel, and a touch of bitter almond. The Cape Mentelle journey is a true labour of love, born from humble beginnings in 1970 with just sixteen hectares of vines. This wine is a crafted blend of flavours and textures, showcasing the best of Margaret River Shiraz. This 16 Hectares Shiraz is a medium-bodied delight, with a rich array of dark fruit flavours, including red cherry, blackberry, and spiced plum. The wine presents a clear deep ruby colour with rich aromas of blackcurrant and morello cherries with hints of vanilla, prunes, and spice - pepper, coriander and cloves and a smokiness reminiscent of lapsang southong tea.
The wine is medium bodied with moderate tannins with smooth, subtle tannins and with notable freshness with a long finish.

Grown in Sussex, just 35 miles from our winery, the grapes are hand-picked and sorted in the vineyard. Whole bunch pressed and fermented using indigenous yeast in old burgundy barrels. The wine underwent natural malolactic fermentation and aged for a total of 7 months with frequent lees stirring. Our pinot meunier is a delicate interpretation of the variety lending itself to aromas of raspberry, mandarin peel, red floral notes, grapefruit, with hints of citrus zest, and dried cranberry.
