Plumpton Estate Medium Sweet Ortega 2021 (6 Bottles) Plumpton, East Sussex, England
UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED
The Ortega grapes are hand-harvested and transported to the winery where they are destemmed, crushed, and pressed. The ferment was tasted daily and stopped at desired residual sugar level by chilling and filtering. The yeast was specially selected and was a sweet wine yeast Zymaflore ST. This yeast is susceptible to cold shock, making it easy to stop the ferment.
An aromatic medium sweet wine, well balanced with uplifting aromas of peach, gooseberry and elderflower.

Azienda Vitivinicola Luigi Tacchino Gavi di Gavi 2024 (6 Bottles) Piedmont, Italy
UK MAINLAND SHIPPING INCLUDED
For more than three generations the Tacchino family has produced superb fresh and vibrant wines in Castelletto d`Orba in Monferrato, Piedmont. This is perfect wine country as the hills provide a natural amphitheatre which protects the vineyards from the northerly winds. Today, brother and sister duo Alessio and Romina run the Tacchino estate, with Bob the German Shephard close at their heels. This wine presents a medium-intensity straw-yellow colour with good luminosity. On the nose, it opens with delicate floral aromas, particularly acacia and linden blossom, followed by subtle fruit notes, led by light peach, and finishing with hints of Mediterranean herbs. The palate mirrors the bouquet with clarity, offering a flavourful and refreshingly bright profile that leaves the mouth feeling exceptionally clean. A gentle almond note lingers as an aromatic aftertaste, rounding out a balanced, smooth, and pleasantly invigorating sip.

Anthonij Rupert Wyne was founded on the farm, L’Ormarins in Franschhoek. It was Johann Rupert who constructed a state-of-theart winemaking facility, catapulting the farm into a prestigious wine estate. Each site offers optimum varietal specific growing conditions, allowing Anthonij Rupert Wyne to adhere to the requirements of their different brands.
