Modern white wines are generally pressed from their skins prior to fermentation. Orange wine is a term given to white wines that have been fermented and aged on their skins.
2022 Litmus Orange is produced from from 100% hand harvested Bacchus. The Bacchus was fermented and remained for six weeks on skins without sulphur dioxide.
Pale gold in colour the wine displays hazelnut, fennel and marzipan characters on the nose. The palate has a touch of Vanilla spice, is incredibly generous and complex and boasts a long broad palate with a gripping astringency and smooth, long finish. Enjoy with oily meats and spicy dishes.

Owned by the Deniau family, Domaine des Vaublins has been a family winery for several generations. Since 2020 the Domaine is in the hands of the current generation Nicolas and Alexandrine, and together with Cedric Allion they are making some excellent wines under his watchful eye. Their 16 hectares of vines are located on the clay and limestone hillsides on the banks of the river Cher.
This Sauvignon Blanc showcases itself behind a golden hue adorned with green undertones, displaying impeccable clarity and remarkable depth. Its bouquet exudes the essence of delicate citrus fruits, particularly grapefruit, accompanied by a discernible mineral character. With aeration, the wine unveils invigorating hints of freshly squeezed lemon entwined with the essence of white fruit, pear, and green apples. On the palate, the wine possesses a crispness that borders on a steely sharpness, bursting forth with vibrant flavours of gooseberry, peanut, and nettle, courtesy of its ageing on lees.

This family-owned boutique winery was founded in 1995 and dedicates itself to the production of super-premium, sites pecific red wine made in small volumes. Originally from Germany, the Glaetzer family settled in Australia in the late 19th century and were some of the earliest recorded viticulturalists in the Barossa Valley and Clare Valley. During the early years, Bodegas Lustau operated as an ‘Almacenista’. The Lustau family began bottling their own sherries and exporting by 1950. Beautifully balanced and white gold in colour, it has a natural richness and floral bouquet. A portion of this wine is matured in oak barrels then it is aged for 36 months in our underground cave before hand disgorge and finishing.

Isabel Estate is one of the original Marlborough vineyards with some of the oldest vines in the region on original rootstock. Throughout the 1980s the couple planted key noble varietals and began to deliver fruit of exceptional quality, in high demand from premium and internationally renowned wine producers. Under the leadership of Chief Winemaker Jeremy McKenzie, the winery continues to build its reputation for award winning Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir but is also producing world class Chardonnay. Recognised and awarded, the estate has won. All fruit is estate grown from the 54 hectares of vines, most of which are now organic.
