During the early years, Bodegas Lustau operated as an ‘Almacenista’. The Lustau family began bottling their own sherries and exporting by 1950. In the 1980s they expanded their range and introduced the Almacenista range concept of buying and maturing casks from small bodegas to share excellent quality names and styles with enthusiasts around the world. Bodegas Lustau is considered a world-class benchmark for top-quality wines.
Vermouth born to combine with all tonic, soda, cava, prosecco … Three exceptional Lustau wines are the basis of this elegant, silky vermouth: a very dry Fino, a white Moscatel and sweet, and a pinch of Tintilla of Rota brings its pink color. With a perfect blend of 10 botanicals this vermouth perfect balance is obtained, with floral notes and aroma of wild strawberries.

Ripe orchard fruits. Lovely, fresh and well balanced with a hint of toasty background notes.
The nose is of redcurrants, sweet red apples and peach with suggestions of pastry and lemon shortbread. The palate is very fruit forward, thanks to the fruits of the ripe 2019 vintage. But it’s perfectly judged, bringing forward a creamy generosity to balance the taut red berry and crisp apple flavours.

Ashdown Boundary Block is made from 100% Merlot grapes. Aged in old oak barrels for 19 months. Light to medium bodied with a ruby to garnet hue. Monte del Frà (meaning ‘land of the monks’) gets its name from the late 15th century, when a group of Friars formed a monastery on the land. Some hundred years later, the friars leased 25 hectares for the cultivation of vineyards and fruit trees. You can, in fact, still see this document today in the Vienna’s historic library. Fast forward several centuries, and Monte del Frà is now in the very capable hands of the Bonomo family. For over six decades the family have farmed this land, now resting firmly with the third generation; Marica, Silvia and Massimo Bonomo.
