The estate’s vineyards are located on the upper Rhine terrace, where soils shaped during the last ice age tell a long geological story. These soils, gravel and sand from ancient rivers, topped with a layer of loess—give the wines their structure and distinctive mineral character.
This wine has heady perfume of raspberries, bitter cherry and scented herbs, supported by sweet and supple tannins and a juicy mouthfeel. Small proportion of whole bunch gifts a lifted, aromatic profile.
