“A chardonnay for those who favour balance, freshness and sophistication” is how our Head Winemaker, Fergus Elias, described his newest vintage of Skye’s Chardonnay, from the superb 2022 harvest.
Inspired by our home, with flavours reminiscent of white blossom, thyme and fresh lemons. Coming from vineyards planted specifically for the creation of English Chardonnay.
Skye’s Chardonnay is made from Burgundy clones planted on Middle Strackney Wood and Old Eight Acre, our two warmest Chardonnay Vineyards which we pick last to maximise phenolic ripeness.
Here’s three reasons to try our Chardonnay:
1. Burgundian heritage: this wine comes entirely from grafted Burgundian vines, grown on Kentish clay soil.
2. Unoaked style: this is all about the character of the chardonnay – zesty, fresh and Chablis-like in style.
3. Lingering complexity: this is proof that you don’t need oak to make interesting wine. There’s plenty of texture from the extended lees age, battonage and full malolactic fermentation.
Tasting Note: A clean citrus-driven palate with notes of lime and melon rind. A delightful, aromatic and complex Chardonnay.
Winemaker’s Food Pairing: There’s a freshness and vibrancy to this wine which makes it an excellent pairing for fresh salads. Alternatively, it’s extra weight (balanced with the citrus character) creates a delicious counterpoint to oily fish dishes and shellfish.

The latest release of our highly successful Classic Cuvée Brut that was originally released in 2019, and sold out quickly.
This new release is made from grapes from the excellent 2019 and 2020 vintages. Made from a blend of 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir, secondary fermentation in bottle followed by 24 months gaining complexity on lees. The wine therefore benefits from some lovely bottle age and is ready to be enjoyed now. 12% ABV.

A very special traditional method English sparkling wine made from our own Pinot Noir grapes skilfully combined with a carefully selected local Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir mix.
2018 was an exceptional growing year in the UK with a super hot summer which delivered grapes bursting with juicy ripeness.
Our Reserve Cuvée has fresh and intense citrus aromas, supported by notes of ripe fruit and the slightest hint of oak. A touch of biscuity honey with a creamy finish completes the tasting journey.
Aged on the lees for at least 24 months. Excellent with lobster lasagne, seafood or enjoyed on its own.

The 2025 Red Hut Pinot Gris from Marlborough's Awatere valley is a vibrant and finely detailed expression of the variety. Aromas of freshly cut pear, lemon zest and white blossom lead into a palate that is both bright and textural. Notes of nashi pear, green apple and a hint of spice are supported by a subtle mineral edge. This Pinot gris finished long and clean, with a gentle savoury note that adds depth and complexity. The Cape Mentelle journey is a true labour of love, born from humble beginnings in 1970 with just sixteen hectares of vines. Fast forward to today, and this iconic winery has carefully crafted each blend to showcase the unique characteristics of its terroir, resulting in wines that are both complex and approachable.
This wine is a vibrant and seductive blend of flavours, with a nose that's bursting with juicy yellow peaches, sweet melon, and citrus zest, all entwined with delicate hints of frangipani and honeysuckle. Domaine Deux Roches is based in the village of Davayé, in the Mâconnais, and is jointly owned by Jean-Luc Terrier and Christian Collovray. Their 50 hectares of vineyards largely lie between the twin escarpments of Solutré and Vergisson and showcase the diverse terroirs of this region. The wines of Deux Roches are known for their drinkability and offer great value for money.
This Bourgogne Blanc by Domaine Des Deux Roches has an appealing bouquet of fresh apples and bright citrus fruits with a delicate hint of spice. Creamy stone fruits on the palate are underscored by a refreshing mineral character. Beautifully balanced with a lingering finish. Great value for money.
