Ashdown Boundary Block is made from 100% Merlot grapes. Aged in old oak barrels for 19 months. Light to medium bodied with a ruby to garnet hue. On the nose aromas of plum, blackcurrant, blackberry, almond, rhubarb, Cherry Bakewell and vanilla leading to flavors of cooked cherries, black currant jam, vanilla, cranberries and blackberries.
It is smooth with a good length. Its tannin structure is well balanced and delicate, while still delivering an intense and complex taste. Enjoy this wine with roast beef, mushroom risotto, or game dishes. Well-balanced acidity and medium body create a crisp, lively texture that carries to a refreshing finish. Domaine de Cantagrils were among the first to plant and cultivate Piquepoul in 1983. The terroir of the domaine is characterised by beautiful red soils, with plots originally planted amongst an orchard of almond trees. Situated in the north of Picpoul de Pinet AOC, there is a strong continental influence, rather than maritime, with more humid morning fog, higher rainfall and warmer temperatures, which has a pleasant ripening impact on the fruit.
A delicate golden colour in classic Picpoul style, the bouquet of the wine is composed of ripe exotic fruits, sweet spices and anise, and light, clean and sleek minerality, and a certain zippiness.

Anthonij Rupert Wyne Protea Rosé 2025 (6 Bottles) Franschhoek, South Africa

Anthonij Rupert Wyne was founded on the farm, L’Ormarins in Franschhoek. Originally owned by the late Anthonij Rupert, who passed away in 2001, the farm was eventually taken over by his brother Johann Rupert in 2003 and the brand named after him. It was Johann Rupert who constructed a state-of-theart winemaking facility, catapulting the farm into a prestigious wine estate. The focus is on terroir specific wines and therefore it would seem obvious that the brand is made up of an impressive portfolio of farms representing the best in grape producing locations. The portfolio is made up of L’Ormarins from Franschhoek, Rooderust from Darling, Riebeeksrivier from the Swartland and Altima from isolated Elandskloof. Each site offers optimum varietal specific growing conditions, allowing Anthonij Rupert Wyne to adhere to the requirements of their different brands.
The nose is vibrant with abundant cherry and strawberry notes, complemented by subtle floral and citrus nuances. On the palate, intense flavours of raspberry, cherry, and strawberry emerge, offering a lively, succulent freshness balanced by a smooth, well-rounded body. A delicate hint of citrus, reminiscent of pink grapefruit, mirrors the nose and enhances the wine’s overall charm. The finish is long and lingering, leaving a lasting impression.
