Tamar Valley Double White – Still White Wine 2023 (6 Bottles) Bere Alston, Devon, England

Made from a blend of Madeleine Angevine and Bacchus grapes, grown in the Tamar Valley. The wine has hints of blossom, sherbet and elderflower, a floral and citrus finish with baked apple on the nose. This wine won a BRONZE at the Wine GB West awards in December 2024.
The Tamar Valley was famous for its market gardens and early flowering blooms, especially daffodils. The ‘double white’ was popular for its intense perfume and its creamy white petals.

Aged in French and American oak barrels for almost one year, giving structure, complexity and depth. Dark Cherry, Blackberry and subtle oak notes make this perfect at the table with a wide range of fine foods.

Toppesfield Pinot Rosé is a dry, Provençal style rosé with hints of English strawberries and citrus. Torri Cantine, producers of organic wine in Abruzzo for 60 years, has always made the respect for nature and for the land its priority. The radiant vine-covered hills of Torri Cantine express an infinite variety of scents and all the colours of the earth warmed by the sun. The Torri Cantine vineyards extend over 60 hectares in the municipalities of Colonnella, Controguerra and Torano, in the province of Teramo, from 100 to 300 meters above sea level. The favorable climatic conditions and the generous soil, together with the patient and scrupulous work in the vineyard and in the cellar, have made it possible to obtain wines of great value.
Colour is an intense red, with lots of soft fruits, flowers and spices on the nose. Fresh mineral and astringent with persistence and full bodied mouth. Perfect with rich grilled meat courses, cured meat, seasoned cheese, legumes soups and lasagna.
