This is our 2021 Vintage ‘Willow‘ Still White wine
A small batch single vintage blend of our Phoenix and Seyval Blanc grown here at Little Waddon using pesticide free regenerative growing tehcniques.
Partially hand de-stemmed and foot crushed, left on skins before a wild fermentation.
Unfiltered and unfined with no sulphur added at any stage.
Tasting: Think of an English Summer day; a nose of elderflower, citrus fruit with a hint of peach, buttery toasted almonds and a well balanced acidity. Dry to off dry. Best served slightly chilled, and to let the wine fully open up don’t return it to the fridge.

During the early years, Bodegas Lustau operated as an ‘Almacenista’. The Lustau family began bottling their own sherries and exporting by 1950. In the 1980s they expanded their range and introduced the Almacenista range concept of buying and maturing casks from small bodegas to share excellent quality names and styles with enthusiasts around the world. Bodegas Lustau is considered a world-class benchmark for top-quality wines.
This pale golden-hued vermouth is a blend of carefully selected white wines, fortified with a touch of brandy and infused with a secret blend of botanicals. The nose is immediately greeted with intense aromas of dried herbs, citrus peel, and a hint of saline minerality. On the palate, the wine reveals a perfect balance between sweetness and acidity, with flavours of green apple, fennel, and a touch of bitter almond. This sweet vermouth has been hand-crafted from distilled Sauvignon wine, blended with Pinot Noir and carefully selected botanical infusions of herbs, spices and citrus peel.
Beautifully bitter wormwood aromas are intertwined with dark notes of cacao and coffee, creamy undertones of vanilla, earthy rooibos tea leaves, and sweetness from caramelised Albury honey. A warming melange of spices including cassia bark, orange peel, nutmeg and ginger are underpinned by herbal flavours of honeybush leaf, lemon balm and meadowsweet for added complexity.

Brimming with the warmth and richness of southern Sicily, this full-bodied red is a bold yet elegant expression of the island’s character. De Haan Altés Diluvio Albariño 2024 (6 Bottles) Rías Baixas, Spain

In addition to working with his wife Núria Altés on their ambitious joint project in Terra Alta, Herència Altés, Rafael De Haan has spent the last 10 years sourcing wines across Spain for his excellent négociant business, Bodegas Abanico. In the process he fell in love with the diverstiy of Spanish terroir, especially some lesser-known appellations and unusual varietals. This inspired him to launch the De Haan Altés Custom Cuvées project; Rafael partners with local winemakers he has known for years to craft unique, exceptionally-made cuvees that are the ultimate expressions of their respective terroirs.
Straw colour with a steely green rim. Bright and clean. Varied aromas, fruit and citrus predominating, apple and stone-fruit hints, with some flower notes. Tasty and well-structured in the mouth. Intense aftertaste with fruity and floral hints.
