On the nose, bright citrus aromas intertwine with delicate floral notes and a whisper of toasted almond, hinting at its partial oak cask aging (46%) alongside stainless steel (54%). The absence of malolactic fermentation preserves the vibrant acidity (8.8g/L), complemented by a touch of residual sugar (5.9g/L) that enhances the wine’s texture without compromising its finesse.
On the palate, Paragon is a symphony of precision and complexity. The wine delivers crisp green apple, lemon zest, and a chalky minerality, rounded by a subtle creaminess from oak influence. Domaine la Haute Févrie is found right in the heart of the Muscadet Sèvre et Maine appellation, around 18km south-east of Nantes. The estate covers 30 hectares of vineyards divided into several plots, which sit on the piece of land that lies between the waters of the Sèvre and the Maine. All of the vines are managed with environmentally friendly priniciples. hand-harvesting, no chemical fertilizers and with yield control. The domaine create single vineyard Muscadet wines enabling the expression of each individual site in every bottle.
The wine is aged for seven months in stainless steel tank, preserving its freshness. Displaying classic citrus and marine aromas, zip and a subtle spritz it is ideal with bivalves (mussels, oysters, etc.)

Albourne Estate Red Pinot Noir 2019 (6 Bottles) Albourne, West Sussex, England

This is our second vintage of Red Pinot Noir and displays a deeper, richer ruby colour and a more complex nose than our 2018 version. This is partly due to the vintage and partly due to increased use of the ‘saignee’ method during winemaking. The nose offers aromas of rich dark berries including black cherries backed by notes of cigarbox, black olives and dark chocolate. On the palate it delivers excellent body for a cool climate Pinot Noir with mature soft tannins, a balanced mouthfeel and a harmonious lingering finish. All of this wine has spent 12 months in a mix of new and old French oak barrels before being bottled by hand, unfined and unfiltered, under cork to allow gentle ageing.
Highly enjoyable with charcuteries cheese and nuts as an aperitif and great with a casserole or barbecued meats and vegetables.

Sandridge Barton Pinot Noir 2022 (6 Bottles) Stoke Gabriel, Devon, England

This distinct Pinot Noir is the follow-up to the 2020 vintage which was awarded the Best Red Wine, Best Still Wine and Best Regional Wine in the UK at the 2023 WineGB awards. Hailing from the flawless 2022 vintage, this follow has already won Gold at the WineGB Awards before it was even released.
2022 was a long, dry and hot summer, with perfect ripening conditions here in our South Devon vineyard, with harvest taking place from mid-September to mid-October. All grapes were hand-picked and bought back to the winery, where we cold macerated them for two days, with 35% whole bunch and the rest crushed and de-stemmed before spontaneously fermenting on skins for 10-days. 35% of the wine was then matured in third and fourth-fill French oak barrels for between 18-24 months and some remained in stainless steel and was bottled without filtration.
The nose has elevated red fruit, wild strawberry, red currant, and cherry with a touch of spice and subtle oak. The palate is bright and concentrated with more red berries, that are then supported with a mouth-watering acidity, soft tannins and a long and complex finish.
