This well-rounded dry wine has aromas of pear with floral notes of lilac and jasmine and a hint of toastiness from a short time in oak. On the palate, it is plump and centred with a fresh finish.
A smooth texture and a long finish makes this Pinot Blanc a versatile wine for food pairing. Try a glass with roast chicken, mild cheeses, creamy pasta sauces and rich egg dishes like quiche lorraine. The wine presents a generous bouquet of stone fruit notes white peach and honeysuckle with fresh citrus bursts. These delicate notes are brought together to create a wine with great clarity, a unifying minerality and slight viscosity. Pair with white fish, dishes with creamy sauces and fresh salads.
100% Pinot Gris from an Alsatian grape varietal, the grapes were pressed in early October. After low
temperature fermentation the wine was left in tank over winter but not allowed to go through
malolactic fermentation to preserve the fresh acidity.
