Llanerch Estate Still Blush Rosé puts a unique spin on its sparkling counterpart. Crafted from Seyval Blanc and Triomphe grapes, this version uses first-press juice, creating a distinctive character with delightful similarities to the Blush Sparkling.
The complex nose captivates with ripe summer red berries and herbaceous, grassy notes, evoking a lush British garden. The palate is refreshingly dry, revealing layers of fruity British summer berries with subtle apple hints, leading to a satisfying long finish.

The Verhaeghe family have been making wine in the Lot since the 1950s. Today it is Pascal and Jean-Marc in charge of the domaine, which is certified organic. They own three parcels of vineyards, the largest of which is 12.5 acres with stony calcareous clay which is called `Tran`, which plays an important role retaining heat and moisture. This site, defined by its chalk and flint soils, gives wines that are bright and elegant, with power, structure and a crystalline quality. This example has bright citrus, alongside orchard fruit, melon and a mineral note.
Tasting note In the glass, this is light straw in colour with a delicate mousse. On the nose, this has strawberry, peach, and peach melba notes. The flavour profile is filled with vibrant red fruit – notes of wild strawberry, cranberry, raspberry, with red apple and ripe peach. Bright, elegant acidity matches with the juicy fruit to create a delicious, vibrant wine, with floral hints of rose and some red cherry pie. There’s a touch of spice from the lees ageing. This blend replaces our highly successful Ditchling Reserve. Using Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir Précoce, the wine has been longer in reserve and a large proportion has been barrel aged before bottling. Long aging on the lees has ensured a rich, but still fruity balance. Also awarded a gold medal at the 2021 International Wines & Spirits Competition; the judges commented “Stunning nose of honeycomb, bruised apple and brioche – like a fine dessert with apple four ways.
