A single vineyard blend of Seyval Blanc and Pinot Noir. On site at Melbury Vale Vineyard we have one block of established Seyval Blanc vines and one block of established Pinot Noir vines. While Pinot Noir is traditionally used in sparkling wine, Seyval Blanc has become a go-to English preference for sparkling production. Pinot Noir and Seyval Blanc at Melbury Vale ripen about the same time and are checked for sugar levels that are ideal for sparkling. This wine is a pale coral pink color with fine bubbles typical of a high quality English sparkling wine. On the nose there are aromas of fresh summer berries and meadow flowers, and on the palate there are bright notes of ripe strawberry, watermelon, and lime zest.
Food Pairings: Dorset shellfish dishes, smokey pulled pork, and with cake after tea.

This vintage of Kerner has been on an upward trajectory ever since we first tasted it in 2018. Displaying the richer, aromatic, and honestly more intruiging side of Kerner, it has a bouquet of sweet white flowers, aromatic orchard fruits, with a nicely balanced sweetness. Vibrant with notes of plum and black cherry, warming toast and spice. The palate is rich with textured silky tannins and flavours of ripe damson and hints of rosemary. Persistence of hedgerow fruit and crunchy acidity gives a complete and rounded finish.
A bold and ripe expression of Pinot Noir from the stellar vintage of 2022. Made from fruit harvested from Burgundian and German clones of Pinot Noir at Flint Vineyard and from Martin's Lane in the Crouch Valley, Essex.
Long standing followers of Flint will know that our popular red, Pinot Noir Précoce is made from an eagerly ripening ‘clone’ of Pinot Noir, but we also planted some special Burgundian ‘clones’ of Pinot Noir on our Brown’s vineyard site.
The Pinot Noir grapes on our own site, some of the oldest vines at Flint, were planted in 2016, this is the first time we’ve picked these grapes for making red wine.

Following on from the success of our medal winning 2021 vintage we have produced the same style of wine from our hand harvested Solaris, fermented and aged in stainless steel with seven months of lees aging and batonnage to help enhance the palate and mouthfeel with aromas of citrus and floral notes. Subtle stone fruits merge with an oily texture, balanced with crisp acidity.

A chilled glass of Blanc de Blancs is traditionally enjoyed as an aperitif. However, its fresh acidity pairs well with light foods such as oysters, white fish and summer salads at a garden party.
