Like our gold medal winner of 2009, it is a blend of Huxelrebe and Reichensteiner harvested in a fine year for UK vineyards. Bacchus grapes are particularly well suited to our High Weald terroir, and produce a fresh, aromatic, crisp white wine. This 2023 vintage shows all the benefits of the long hot summer in the UK last year and is slightly more rounded and nuanced than our previous vintages, with strong aromas of pear and gooseberry on the nose and palate and with a deliciously smooth finish. Alcohol 12%, vegan friendly, organic.

The fruit was harvested by hand from our own vines and a parcel from Martin's Lane Vineyard in the Crouch Valley, Essex. To express the complexity of the Bacchus grape, we use a multitude of techniques that respect both the traditional and more novel methods of winemaking.
