This wine is made from 100% Pinot Noir.
Best served cool from the fridge (5 to 8oC), it will make a great all year round drink to accompany Mediterranean dishes, salads and barbequed fish and prawns.

The Cape Mentelle journey is a true labour of love, born from humble beginnings in 1970 with just sixteen hectares of vines. Fast forward to today, and this iconic winery has carefully crafted each blend to showcase the unique characteristics of its terroir, resulting in wines that are both complex and approachable.
This wine is a vibrant and seductive blend of flavours, with a nose that's bursting with juicy yellow peaches, sweet melon, and citrus zest, all entwined with delicate hints of frangipani and honeysuckle. The East of England has an increasingly suitable climate for sparkling wine production and English Quality Sparkling Wine is rapidly gaining international recognition, praise and awards. At the Wine GB East 2022 Awards, Dedham Vale Vineyard 2018 Sparkling Brut was awarded a Silver Medal in recognition of its outstanding quality.
This Brut Sparkling wine is made using the methode champenoise. It has spent time on its lees generating a refreshing lively mousse (the French term for the bubbles that rise to the top of a sparkling wine), good depth on the palate with attractive fresh fruit flavours and yeasty overtones.
Pristine with persistent bubbles and cream texture. Toast and citrus fruit with balsamic notes. Very long fresh gooseberry finish.

A limited edition of 100 bottles. This is a pudding fizz made at Hattingley Valley and disgorged at Offbeat Wines by Daniel Ham, our winemaker. A demi-sec is created at dosage stage with extra sugar blended with the base wine. The wine has had 36 months on its yeast lees and then a further 6 months on cork in cellar.
