Complex aromas of toast, brioche, coffee, honey and fig on the nose are backed up by fresh tangerine and satsuma citrus notes on the palate. This is a great example of English Sparkling Wine at its finest. We will only make this wine in excellent years and in limited quantities.

First release of our signature premium blend is made from only our finest cuvees with minimal intervention techniques – no fining, no filtration and prolonged barrel maturation in a mixture of old and new oak prior to blending and bottling . The wine is dry yet the aromas remind us of baked apples and lemon peel, it’s a beautiful wine to drink with food and it will naturally match most fish dishes, and especially those prepared with a creamy sauce or with a hint of spice.

Tasting Notes featured in Decanter Magazine:: (November 2023) "A richly textured blanc de blancs from the North Downs, five years on lees. Yeasty mango, pineapple and banana peel on the nose. More rounded yellow fruits on the palate, seasoned with sweet spices and a touch of tannin. The creamy weight is offset by still-vivid freshness. Toasty almonds to finish."

WineGB Tasting Notes: "Deep colour, powerful nose with presence - cashew brioche and fig. A big, dense, textural wine with weight allied to power. Finishes long and fine with toasted nuts, candied lemon and spice."

The sixth release, our 2015 Blanc de Blancs is a standout wine that we are incredibly proud of. Awarded an impressive 93 points by Decanter Magazine, it featured in their November 2023 issue as one of the "Best English Wines to Try This Christmas". This wine is a true testament to our dedication to crafting exceptional English wines and makes a great gift for any wine lover.

The grapes were crushed and destemmed before fermenting. Part of the wine was fermented and aged in used oak barrels with the remainder in stainless steel tanks. Both batches went through malolactic fermentation. It was bottled for secondary fermentation in July 2016 and has matured on lees for 6 years.
