Our ‘Kentish’ Blanc de Noirs is a wine of yin and yang. The traditional ripe Blanc de Noir flavour of red apple and blackcurrant combine with linear citrus and oyster shell characteristics noticeable in all of Balfour’s vintage wines. The result is a wine of wonderful tension, vibrancy, and complexity.

Josef Chromy is one of Tasmania's most famous influential wine figures, having owned and developed some of the state's most prominent wineries, including Rochecombe (now Bay Of Fires), Jansz, Tamar Ridge and Heemskerk vineyards. In 2007 he established the winery that would bear his name, which quickly became one of Tasmania's leading wine producers.
A vibrant nose of zesty lemon, lime, and kaffir lime leaves, complemented by subtle hints of roasted fennel and bay leaves. On the palate, it’s juicy and refreshing, with lively acidity and a fresh, vibrant character. The wine offers excellent length and focus, with a pleasant texture and a hint of chalky minerality, adding depth and intrigue.

Due to an ideal vintage in 2022, Matt Abbey our winemaker, has produced our first still Chardonnay; with pleasing results. Hand-harvested fruit from our vineyard and fermented in stainless steel. Aged in a combination of new and aged Hungarian oak for six months.

Cielo e Terra has dual roots in the Veneto region: the Cielo family and the winemakers of the Cantine dei Colli Berici. The Cielo family’s bond with the land dates back to 1908 in the Vicenza countryside, near the Castles of Romeo and Juliet, where the great-grandfather had bought Casa Defrà, a small farm with a vineyard. Royal Sovereign Rosé is a dry, crisp rosé with a vibrant cerise colour made from hand-harvested Rondo grapes grown in the Tamar Valley. The wine has hints of strawberries, raspberries and summer fruits. Royal Sovereign was one of the most popular strawberry cultivars grown in Tamar Valley market gardens during the first half of the twentieth century.
