Bluebell Hindleap Barrel Aged Blanc de Blancs 2017 (6 Bottles) Furners Green, East Sussex, England

Ashdown Boundary Block is made from 100% Merlot grapes. Aged in old oak barrels for 19 months. Light to medium bodied with a ruby to garnet hue. On the nose aromas of plum, blackcurrant, blackberry, almond, rhubarb, Cherry Bakewell and vanilla leading to flavors of cooked cherries, black currant jam, vanilla, cranberries and blackberries.

Anthonij Rupert Wyne was founded on the farm, L’Ormarins in Franschhoek. Originally owned by the late Anthonij Rupert, who passed away in 2001, the farm was eventually taken over by his brother Johann Rupert in 2003 and the brand named after him. It was Johann Rupert who constructed a state-of-theart winemaking facility, catapulting the farm into a prestigious wine estate. The focus is on terroir specific wines and therefore it would seem obvious that the brand is made up of an impressive portfolio of farms representing the best in grape producing locations. The portfolio is made up of L’Ormarins from Franschhoek, Rooderust from Darling, Riebeeksrivier from the Swartland and Altima from isolated Elandskloof. Each site offers optimum varietal specific growing conditions, allowing Anthonij Rupert Wyne to adhere to the requirements of their different brands.
The nose reveals apricot and stone fruit aromas, with subtle hints of lemon and gravel. On the palate, it’s bright and vibrant, featuring a crisp, zesty acidity that’s perfectly balanced by ripe fruit flavours of apricot, melon, and quince. The summer of 2018 left a legacy long after the long, warm summer days had faded and was well suited to producing a great harvest for reds. Nethercote Hill 2020 is a true reflection of this fantastic harvest. With light tannings, Oak undertones and a deliciously rich cherry hint on the pallet.

Plumpton Estate Brut Rosé is made by the traditional method using a classic blend of Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir. grapes are hand-picked and fermented before our winemaker carefully crafts our signature blend with the help of wine students. The wine spends at least two years ageing on lees in bottle. A splash of red Pinot Noir wine is added to give it a vibrant pink colour.
