The ever-popular Sparkling Rosé returns!
This wine is made from a blend of 55% Pinot Meunier and 45% Pinot Noir and aged for 18 months on its lees.
The grapes were picked in October following a record-breaking hot summer here at Saffron Grange. The result is a delicious sparkling wine packed with strawberries and a underlying hint of jamminess.
The Sparkling Rosé is salmon pink in colour, with a vibrant mousse. The nose is greeted with sumptuous wild strawberries and baked apricots followed by ripe peaches, cream and the richness of hazelnut on the palate. Delicious on its own or why not try with Asian style dishes like sticky duck pancakes.
This Sparkling Rosé would be the perfect sparkling wine to treat someone special with or toast with at those special occasions.

This sparkling rose wine is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes, hand-picked from our own estate. It is made using the classic bottle fermentation method. The Cape Mentelle journey is a true labour of love, born from humble beginnings in 1970 with just sixteen hectares of vines. Fast forward to today, and this iconic winery has carefully crafted each blend to showcase the unique characteristics of its terroir, resulting in wines that are both complex and approachable.
This wine is a symphony of citrus and tropical flavours, bursting with energy and vibrancy. The nose is a riot of yellow grapefruit pith, green mango, and crushed lime leaf. Here at Lyme Bay, we have been perfecting our award-winning meads for over 25 years now and often experiment with new and bold flavours to push the boundaries of what is possible with mead.

Complex aromas of toast, brioche, coffee, honey and fig on the nose are backed up by fresh tangerine and satsuma citrus notes on the palate. This is a great example of English Sparkling Wine at its finest. We will only make this wine in excellent years and in limited quantities.
First release of our signature premium blend is made from only our finest cuvees with minimal intervention techniques – no fining, no filtration and prolonged barrel maturation in a mixture of old and new oak prior to blending and bottling . The wine then spent over 4 years in bottle on-lees ageing in our cellars prior to disgorging leading to a beautifully concentrated and complex layered wine with perfect poise and balance.
