Our Ortega is made hand-picked grapes, harvested early October, the Ortega grapes from Kent started fermenting in our winery on the 6th of October. The pale yellow juice aged in a stainless steel tank and in a 3rd vintage oak barrel from Burgundy, before being bottled in May 2024. The wine is unfiltered, unfined and vegan friendly.
This white wine starts with a floral and citrus nose. The palate has flavours of peach, citrus and flowers leading to a long finish.
Merstone Ortega pairs perfectly with seafood, fish and chicken dishes or can be enjoyed on its own.

This is a very LIMITED EDITION with only 288 bottles produced: a Sparkling Rosé made from all 5 of our grape varietals - Bacchus, Chardonnay, Meunier, Ortega and Pinot Noir.
A pale elegant Rosé, with delicate aromas of raspberry, citrus and fresh peach. Vibrant in the mouth with persistent bubbles and long finish hinting of bright red berries.
So, this is a rare drop. Each bottle is individually numbered and features our specially-commissioned funky label.

A fresh wine, with apricots and almonds on the nose followed by tropical fruits and greengages on the palate. It is the perfect English wine for summer.

A vibrant English sparkling wine with bright citrus notes and crisp freshness. It has a medium lemon colour and fine delicate bubbles. Attractive aromas of acacia blossom and lemon peel mingle with orchard fruits, including green apple and ripe pear plus mild brioche and subtle notes of pastry. On the palate it is deliciously crisp and dry with zest acidity and a lively mousse. Citrus flavours of lemon and yuzu marry greengage and mirabelle plum alongside exotic hints of kumquat and cashew nut. It shows a wonderful purity and saline minerality with a tangy finish.
Serve this dry, sparkling wine well-chilled in a flute as an aperitif. Pair it with canapés including smoked salmon blinis or fish goujons. Enjoy it with Japanese sushi amnd sashimi. A limited edition of 100 bottles. This is a pudding fizz made at Hattingley Valley and disgorged at Offbeat Wines by Daniel Ham, our winemaker. A demi-sec is created at dosage stage with extra sugar blended with the base wine. The wine has had 36 months on its yeast lees and then a further 6 months on cork in cellar.
