From a cool vintage on the south-facing Clayhill vineyard in Essex, this is a more ethereal approach for the Battersea-based urban winery's signature Pinot Noir. Freshly picked hawthorn berry, raspberry and a hint of cedar. A lightweight palate of juicy red berries seasoned with sweet herbs, well balanced and delicate with a soft tannic grip. Anthonij Rupert Wyne was founded on the farm, L’Ormarins in Franschhoek. Originally owned by the late Anthonij Rupert, who passed away in 2001, the farm was eventually taken over by his brother Johann Rupert in 2003 and the brand named after him. It was Johann Rupert who constructed a state-of-theart winemaking facility, catapulting the farm into a prestigious wine estate. The focus is on terroir specific wines and therefore it would seem obvious that the brand is made up of an impressive portfolio of farms representing the best in grape producing locations. The portfolio is made up of L’Ormarins from Franschhoek, Rooderust from Darling, Riebeeksrivier from the Swartland and Altima from isolated Elandskloof. Each site offers optimum varietal specific growing conditions, allowing Anthonij Rupert Wyne to adhere to the requirements of their different brands.
A lively stream of fine bubbles lifts aromas of sherbet and lemon cream biscuits on the nose. On the palate, it is vibrant, fresh, and crisp, with the bright citrus flavours hinted at on the nose immediately coming through. Tangy lime and grapefruit are complemented by a marmalade twist, while subtle notes of apple and toast add complexity and depth. The wine is beautifully balanced, elegant, and composed, finishing with a smooth, dry conclusion.

Domaine Jean Foillard Morgon Cuvée Classique 2022 (6 Bottles) Beaujolais, France

Domaine Jean Foillard wines enjoy cult-like status. Early on, Jean began to follow the teachings of Jules Chauvet, a traditionalist who defied everything that the more commercial brands were touting in the region. Jean and three other local vignerons, Marcel Lapierre, Jean-Paul Thévenet, and Guy Breton, soon joined in on the movement. The wines are a true and natural expression of Morgon with access to the very best vineyards in one of the most renowned areas of the appellation, the ‘Côtes du Py’, and 60-year-old vines, Jean`s wines are full of life and character and show incredible depth and purity.
The Morgon Cuvee Classique is ruby red with a robust nose of complex red and black fruit aroma, as well as earthy notes. On the palate, it is similarly layered. sour cherry, black plum, dried flower and leather, with great depth and a lengthy finish. This is a lighter style of wine that nevertheless offers wonderful complexity and depth.

Pelegrim means Pilgrim in middle English (circa 12th century) and recognises the history of our forbears who walked the Pilgrim's Way above our vineyard for centuries on their final leg to Canterbury.
Pelegrim NV is a traditional bottle-fermented sparkling wine that is made from Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay with reserve wines from previous vintages to give further complexity and a consistent extra dry non-vintage style. The wines are lees-aged in bottle for 36 months to give depth and biscuity aromas which only bottle-fermentation can deliver.

The Cape Mentelle journey is a true labour of love, born from humble beginnings in 1970 with just sixteen hectares of vines. Fast forward to today, and this iconic winery has carefully crafted each blend to showcase the unique characteristics of its terroir, resulting in wines that are both complex and approachable.
This wine is a symphony of citrus and tropical flavours, bursting with energy and vibrancy. The nose is a riot of yellow grapefruit pith, green mango, and crushed lime leaf. On the palate, the flavours explode in a juicy mix of green melon, passionfruit, and guava, perfectly balanced by a succulent citrus acidity that leaves you wanting more. Due to an ideal vintage in 2022, Matt Abbey our winemaker, has produced our first still Chardonnay; with pleasing results. Hand-harvested fruit from our vineyard and fermented in stainless steel. Aged in a combination of new and aged Hungarian oak for six months.
Beautiful aromas of honeysuckle, vanilla and tropical fruits leading to a soft, buttery palate with stone fruits and a soft textured finish. Eleven barrels have been produced and one to enjoy for years to come. Perfect with richer foods. 13.5%
