This Blanc de Noirs fizz is made in the Traditional Method. With 22 months ageing in bottle on the lees, this sumptuous sparkling wine has notes of baked apple and citrus on the nose, with balanced autolytic characters of toasted brioche, baked croissant and toasted nuts on the palate.
Pastries, yeasty notes, apples, lemon, quite complex, great to enjoy with fine foods.

This Court Garden Ditchling White is a delicious blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc and Ortega. The varieties were fermented and aged in stainless steel to retain the clean aromas and soft fruit notes and then blended to create this delicious single-vineyard estate white wine. This is a light medium bodied dry wine. There are aromas of apple, grapefruit, lime and stone fruits, as well as tropical fruits on the palette and a clean fresh finish. To build texture and complexity the Estate Bacchus was 82% fermented in stainless steel and 18% in neutral Burgundy barrels with periodic lees stirring. Delicate and floral with flavours of ripe orchard fruits and spring blossom. The palate is full, with very subtle influence from the neutral barrels, supporting flavours of juicy nectarine and red apple skin.

Freya is a fun alternative to traditional sparkling wines. The joyous, but not sickly amount of residual sugar balances nicely against the naturally high acidity of Kerner. Interestingly, the residual sugar in this vintage is the result of the secondary fermentation (consistently) not finishing. The result is a fantastic, but casual sparkling wine that makes a great gift, or a delicious pairing with fruity desserts.
Juliet Victor Estate Furmint 2021 (6 Bottles) Tokaj, Hungary

Juliet Victor is a relatively young estate, founded in 2015 by József Váradi. Located in the heart of Hungary’s Tokaj region, in the historic town of Mád, Juliet Victor has 25 hectares – some of the highest quality and historically significant areas. The estate uses the same handpicked Furmint grapes to produce dry wines as well as blends with Hárslevelu and Muskotály for their sweet Szamorodni and Late Harvest wines. The vines are on average 45-50 years old but the Bomboly vineyard includes some vines that are over 100 years old.
The aroma is clean, developing, apple and green apple aromas, mild herbal, chamomile character, which is accompanied by a mineral, salty nose. On the palate the wine is dry, with medium acidity, medium loose structure, citrus, vanilla, apple, salty aromas, with a moderately long finish. Balanced, rich white wine which can be drink now or even in 2-5 years. The recommended food pairing for the wine is vitello tonnato, truffle, capers, ruccola.
