100% fermented in neutral Burgundy barrels, full malolactic fermentation followed by periodic lees stirring.
Complex nose with aromas of juicy stone fruits, hazelnut and citrus zest wrapped around a core of minerality. The palate is rich, poised and expressive, with great texture and balance. The finish is long and focused, with lingering flavours of ripe nectarine and crushed almonds.

Made entirely from our own grown Pinot varieties, this wine is a mix of 45% Pinot Noir (mix of clones), 40% Pinot Noir Precoce and 15% Pinot Meunier. With our warm summer of 2023 the result is an intoxicating aroma of red summer fruit produce.
On the mouth the first taste is distinctly of ripe raspberries and loganberries followed by pomegranate and perhaps some red currant. The wine leaves a smooth and rounded finish. This is well balanced and a delight to drink on a summer’s afternoon – with or without food!

The Lustau Vermut Rojo NV is a stunning representation of the traditional Spanish vermouth, showcasing the unique and complex flavours of Jerez. We don't normally produce single variety white wines, but when something is of this quality and so typical of the grape variety, the temptation is sometimes too much.
The 2023 Ortega is made from our oldest organic vines, planted in 1991. It has a mineral earthy style with aromas of yeast and fruit. Ideal with white fish, but also a pleasure to drink on its own.
